KORODUR-KOROTAN Industrial Floor
hard aggregate screed according to DIN 18560

for highest mechanical and dynamic stress in one layer, nearly without joints.

Description:

KORODUR-KOROTAN industrial floor is a cement-bound KORODUR hard aggregate screed, which is applied in one operation to the hardened subbase in an average nominal thickness of 15 mm. It meets the demands of DIN 18560.

The KORODUR-KOROTAN hard aggregate screed consists of standardized factory produced high-quality KORODUR hard aggregates, Portland cement and the KOROTAN-additive.

KORODUR-additive is a high-grade screed plasticizer with additional stabilizing properties for cement-bound screeds and especially created for the KORODUR-KOROTAN hard aggregate screed.

KORODUR-Additive

Form liquid
Color brown
Content of agent (%) 26
Viscosity (m Pas) approx. 10
ph-value approx. 9
Density at 20 degrees C (g/cm3) 1,14

The KORODUR-KOROTAN-Additive in a proportion of 2% effects the following:

  • plasticization of the KORODUR-KOROTAN-mortar at constant water-cement ratio
  • reduction of the water-cement ratio at constant consistency
  • stabilization of the KORODUR-KOROTAN-mortar
  • improvement of the inner friction factor
  • easier workability
  • optimization of the compaction
  • early readiness for mechanical smoothing

Properties:

KORODUR-KOROTAN hard aggregate screeds are:

  • Highly wear-resistant
  • Resistant against high surface pressures
  • Shock-proof
  • Impact-resistant
  • Nearly without joints
  • Anti-slip
  • Water-resistant
  • Frost/Deicer resistant
  • Mineral oil resistant
  • Easy to clean
  • Harmless to environment
  • Harmless to drinking-water
  • Physiologically harmless

Properties:

KORODUR-KOROTAN hard aggregate screeds comply to DIN 18560-ZE 65A-V15F and are applied in one layer on the hardened new resp. worn-out (capable to be restored) subbase of a strenght of >= B 25 grade.

The application is executed nearly without joints. The incorporation of KORODUR Bonding Compound provides an excellent and seamless bond between the KORODUR-KOROTAN hard aggregate screed and the concrete subbase.
